Job summary

IDEX is seeking a 3rd shift Production Utility team member to support manufacturing operations within our Value Stream. You will operate production equipment, perform quality checks, and complete required documentation to keep products moving safely and efficiently from start to finish.

You will set up inspection tools, communicate quality concerns, and assist with handoffs between process steps. A strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this hands‑on role.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred; 3–12 months helpful.
  • Basic computer and math skills required.
  • Experience using micrometers, verniers, calipers, scales, or similar inspection tools is helpful.
  • Ability to wear a respirator when required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment safely and efficiently according to training, work instructions, quality standards, and standard shop practices.
  • Perform first‑piece, in‑process, and final inspections to verify products meet specifications.
  • Use testing equipment to complete quality checks, including bubble point, leak, flow, and differential pressure testing.
  • Set up and use inspection tools and test equipment accurately at the workstation.
  • Complete required production documentation and system transactions accurately and on time.
  • Identify and communicate quality concerns, process issues, or barriers that may impact safety, quality, delivery, or production goals.
  • Support smooth product flow through the Value Stream and assist with handoffs between process steps.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and quality‑focused work area.

Job Summary

We are seeking a 3rd shift (11pm-7am) dependable and detail-oriented Production Utility team member to support manufacturing operations within our Value Stream. In this hands‑on role, you will operate production equipment, perform quality checks, complete required documentation, and help keep products moving safely and efficiently from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in quality, and wants to grow in a manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

Total Rewards

The starting compensation for this position is $21.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
