Job summary

IDEX is seeking a dependable Production Utility to support manufacturing operations in our Value Stream. You will operate production equipment, perform quality checks, and handle required documentation to keep products moving safely and efficiently from start to finish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Experience using micrometers, verniers, calipers, scales, or similar inspection tools is helpful.
• Ability to wear a respirator when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently according to training, work instructions, quality standards, and standard shop practices.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to verify products meet specifications.
• Use testing equipment to complete required quality checks, including bubble point, leak, flow, and differential pressure testing.
• Set up and use inspection tools and test equipment accurately at the workstation.
• Complete required production documentation and system transactions accurately and on time.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns, process issues, or barriers that may impact safety, quality, delivery, or production goals.
• Support smooth product flow through the Value Stream and assist with handoffs between process steps.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and quality-focused work area.

Total Rewards

The starting compensation for this position is $21.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
