Job summary

IDEX, through its Mott division, is seeking a dependable Production Utility for 3rd shift to support manufacturing operations. You will operate production equipment, perform quality checks, and complete documentation, contributing to safe, efficient product flow.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and basic math/computer skills, with comfort using micrometers and calipers. A safety-minded, team-oriented approach is essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred; 3–12 months helpful.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Experience using micrometers, verniers, calipers, scales or similar inspection tools is helpful.
• Ability to wear a respirator when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently according to training, work instructions, quality standards, and standard shop practices.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to verify products meet specifications.
• Use testing equipment to complete required quality checks, including bubble point, leak, flow, and differential pressure testing.
• Set up and use inspection tools and test equipment accurately at the workstation.
• Complete required production documentation and system transactions accurately and on time.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns, process issues, or barriers that may impact safety, quality, delivery, or production goals.
• Support smooth product flow through the Value Stream and assist with handoffs between process steps.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and quality-focused work area.

Job Summary

We are seeking a 3rd shift (11pm-7am) dependable and detail-oriented Production Utility team member to support manufacturing operations within our Value Stream. In this hands-on role, you will operate production equipment, perform quality checks, complete required documentation, and help keep products moving safely and efficiently from start to finish. Total Rewards

The starting compensation for this position is $21.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
