IDEX Corporation in Farmington, CT is seeking a dependable Production Utility team member for the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm). In this hands-on role you will operate production equipment, perform quality checks, and keep products moving safely and efficiently from start to finish.

This position offers a start of $21.00 per hour, opportunity for a performance-based bonus, and a benefits package including health, 401(k) with company match, and PTO.

Job Summary

We are seeking a 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) dependable and detail-oriented Production Utility team member to support manufacturing operations within our Value Stream. This is a 2nd shift position, 3pm-11pm. In this hands‑on role, you will operate production equipment, perform quality checks, complete required documentation, and help keep products moving safely and efficiently from start to finish. What You’ll Do

Operate production equipment safely and efficiently according to training, work instructions, quality standards, and standard shop practices.

• Perform first‑piece, in‑process, and final inspections to verify products meet specifications.
• Use testing equipment to complete required quality checks, including bubble point, leak, flow, and differential pressure testing.
• Set up and use inspection tools and test equipment accurately at the workstation.
• Complete required production documentation and system transactions accurately and on time.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns, process issues, or barriers that may impact safety, quality, delivery, or production goals.
• Support smooth product flow through the Value Stream and assist with handoffs between process steps.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and quality‑focused work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred; three to twelve months of related experience is helpful.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Experience using micrometers, verniers, calipers, scales, or similar inspection tools is helpful.
• Ability to wear a respirator when required.

Total Rewards
