Job summary

BLOX is seeking a hands-on Production Team Lead to guide a manufacturing crew on the floor, ensuring safety, quality, and delivery of modular building solutions.

You will coach operators, assign daily tasks, monitor workflow, and drive continuous improvement while upholding 5S and standard work practices.

Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to align frontline staff with leadership goals and to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience manufacturing or construction experience preferred.
• Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Ability to read tape measure and basic measurement tools
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work as needed.
• Basic computer skills for reporting, communication, etc.
• General understanding of building systems and familiarity with construction and, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of production employees on the floor.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor workflow to meet production goals.
• Responsible for driving continuous flow through safety, quality, and delivery.
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine quality checks to minimize rework.
• Confirm quality through routine checks to minimize rework.
• Assist in training new operators.
• Identify and elevate constraints.
• Ensure that standard work methods are followed.
• Ensure 5S standards are maintained and improved.
• Ensure tools, parts, and materials are supplied to maintain flow.
• Have working knowledge of skill sets, activities, and time required to complete tasks.
• All other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a motivated, hands on Production Team Lead to support daily manufacturing operations.
