Job summary

BLOX is seeking reliable General Laborers to support our production team in a manufacturing environment in Alabama. This role will assist with assembling modular building components, maintain a safe workspace, and ensure quality standards are met throughout production.

Typical duties include manual material handling, tool operation, measurement verification, and adherence to daily production goals. Candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, construction, or general labor.
• Able to read and use basic measurement tools accurately.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general manual labor including loading/unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Operate basic hand and power tools.
• Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Inspect materials and finished products.
• Perform general labor tasks as assigned.
• Support skilled trades as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe workspace through 5S.
• Meet daily production goals and deadlines.

• Perform general manual labor, including loading/unloading, lifting , and moving materials.
• Operate basic hand and power tools.
• Use measurement tools (tape measure, micrometer, calipers) to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Inspect materials and finished products.
• Perform general labor tasks as assigned.
• Support skilled trades as needed.
• Perform 5S duties to maintain a clean, organized, safe working environment.
• Meet daily production goals and deadlines.

Job Skills & Qualifications

• Previous plumbing experience in manufacturing, construction, or general labor.
• Ability to read and use basic measurement tools accurately.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work for extended periods.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
