Job summary

BLOX in Alabama is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a 30+ operator line, drive daily production plans, and manage real-time status. The role emphasizes eliminating constraints, cross-functional problem solving, and building a safe, efficient team culture.

You will mentor staff, ensure training, and deliver continuous improvement actions with a hands-on leadership style. A strong background in manufacturing and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

• High energy personality with a hands-on, lead-by-example leadership style.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience building and/or leading a production or station team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Maintain public visual record of status in real time.
• Actively identify, manage, and remove constraints.
• Ensure the line operates with continuous flow with appropriate resources and minimal rework.

• Have working knowledge of all tasks and time requirements.
• Identify and define problems with 5-why or KT tools.
• Work with cross-functional teams to solve problems including material handlers, process engineering and production scheduling.
• Demonstrate the ability to identify and solve root causes.
• Develop continuous improvement actions and deploy with production teams.
• Communicate production plans, status, and corrective actions.
• Promote good attendance, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Facilitate the training of new employees.

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Production Supervisor responsible for managing the people, material, methods, and machines necessary to achieve efficient workflow. It is a challenging and critical function within BLOX, and the candidate will have significant opportunities for growth within the company. The expectation is that a new leader should first understand the systems currently in place, provide assessment of where the system needs improvement, develop plan for improvement, review plan with the broader group for input and then deploy improvements rapidly.
