Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a seasoned manufacturing leader to drive safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement on the plant floor. You will lead teams, optimize OEE, and deliver value-added production while coordinating with engineering and quality functions.

You will guide lean implementations, manage budgets, mentor supervisors, and ensure on-time delivery. This role requires strong analytical, financial, and interpersonal skills within a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years in leadership; 3+ as supervisor.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Follow Safety Regulations and department safety requirements.
• Monitor OEE and production value added.
• Set daily targets for shipments and manage budgets.
• Improve manufacturing planning, execution, and shop floor discipline.
• Provide leadership for ABS and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Identify and remove non-value-added waste.
• Improve product flow and implement method improvements to reduce labor.
• Develop and train plant leaders, cell facilitators, supervisors, and staff.
• Address safety issues or non-compliances immediately.
• Promote Injury Free Event (IFE) reporting.
• Maintain excellent delivery performance and communicate with customers.
• Contribute to budgeting and strategic plans aligned with BU objectives.
