Job summary

Scanfil Atlanta is seeking a Manufacturing Production Planner to focus on production planning and scheduling for manufacturing activities. The role involves maintaining master schedule data, creating and rescheduling shop orders, and closely coordinating with Purchasing and Production Supervisors.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree or related experience, and solid skills in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and reschedule shop orders.
• Create production schedules based on customer demand in Master Schedule.
• Daily monitoring of shop orders execution.
• Coordinate factory plan approvals with Production Supervisors.
• Reserve materials to shop orders and monitor on-hand inventory.
• Monitor capacity for the next 4 months and report needs to Supervisors.
• Verify and approve extra order capacity and production leveling.
