JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Manufacturing Operator

Location: PAC - Pennsylvania Cable

Summary/Objective: Responsible for the manufacturing of connector assemblies, cable assemblies, and cables. This includes operating equipment such as wrappers, braiders, extruders, presses, soldering, measuring, and testing tools.

Our Technology Centers focus on developing technologies to optimize system performance and cost, from bare die to interfaces 100 meters away, across more than 40 international locations, serving over 125 countries.

• Hourly rate: $20.00 plus applicable bonuses. Pay is commensurate with experience.

Ability to Learn Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery.
• Read and use tools like calipers and micrometers.
• Interpret assembly drawings and manufacture parts accordingly.
• Monitor quality of raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain production paperwork, including quality assurance and efficiency data.
• Set up and make minor adjustments to equipment.
• Perform assembly of connectors, attaching connectors to cables, and cable manufacturing.
• Test cables and assemblies using network analyzers and TDRs.

* Responsibilities are guidelines; additional tasks may be assigned based on capabilities.

Required Experience:

• Physical: Able to stand or sit for over 180 minutes and not suffer from sensory or limb impairments.
• Lifting: Capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
• Atmospheric: Willing to follow all safety rules and regulations.

Preferred Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Training Required:

• On-the-job training as appropriate.
