Job Description

Job Title: Manufacturing Operator

Location: PAC - Pennsylvania Cable

Summary/Objective: Responsible for manufacturing connector assemblies, cable assemblies, and cables. This includes operating equipment such as wrappers, braiders, extruders, presses, soldering tools, measuring, and testing equipment.

• Hourly rate: $20.00 plus bonuses; pay depends on experience.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery efficiently.
• Read and use tools like calipers and micrometers.
• Interpret assembly drawings and manufacture parts accordingly.
• Monitor quality of raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain production paperwork, including quality and efficiency records.
• Set up and make minor adjustments to equipment.
• Assemble connectors, attach connectors to cables, and manufacture cables.
• Test cables and assemblies using network analyzers and TDRs.

Additional tasks may be assigned based on skills and capabilities.

Minimum Experience and Requirements

• Ability to stand or sit for over 3 hours, with no sensory or limb impairments.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Willingness to follow all safety protocols.

Preferred Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Training

• On-the-job training provided as needed.
