Job summary

Leviton is seeking a production supervisor to coordinate resources and supervise manufacturing scheduling to meet production goals within budget and quality standards. The role emphasizes safe operations and adherence to ISO 9001 processes across the production floor.

The ideal candidate will lead with strong leadership and problem-solving skills, drive continuous improvement, and ensure efficient line setups, maintenance planning, and daily metrics to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Requires working knowledge of mechanical, automation and Work Cell style manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Leadership capabilities to lead, manage, mentor and drive a culture of excellence.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Ability to maintain attention to detail and ensure high standards in documentation and processes.

Responsibilities

• Operates department to support budgets for volume, scrap and labor.
• Investigates system and process problems; recommends and implements corrective actions.
• Determines parts supply, maintenance tasks, safety procedures, and service schedules for equipment.
• Develops daily production metrics; analyzes shortfalls and documents causes; removes obstacles to meet goals.
• Enforces company policies including safety, attendance, training, preventive maintenance, and quality rules.
• Performs supervisory duties such as hiring, training, scheduling, assigning work, and evaluating performance.
• Conducts audits on PM, in-process checks, changeovers, 5S and production boards; tracks performance.
