You will guide a team of purchasing professionals, build strong supplier partnerships, and help ensure materials and services are delivered cost-effectively and on time, aligning with business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading purchasing, procurement, or supply chain activities.
• Knowledge of supplier management, sourcing, and contract administration.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of buyers responsible for plant purchasing activities.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
• Review purchasing contracts and POs for policy compliance.
• Manage procurement for materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Partner with Planning and Inventory to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Resolve supplier concerns and support vendor management.
• Evaluate bids, supplier proposals, and sourcing strategies.
• Monitor market trends, purchasing performance, and budgets.
