Kurt J. Lesker Company is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source materials, manage supplier relationships, and balance cost, quality, and on-time delivery to support our Manufacturing Division in a global vacuum technology leader.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in procurement or related education, a Bachelor's degree, and experience with RFQs, blanket orders, and inventory management. Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office is a plus in this Pittsburgh on-site role.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years’ experience in procurement or inventory management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience.
• Working knowledge of RFQs, blanket orders and cost-saving strategies.
• Experience with ERP systems and MS Office.

Aufgaben

• Create and issue purchase orders to support sales, production, stocking, and service requirements.
• Respond to price and delivery requests for non-stocked items from Sales, Service and Production.
• Evaluate stocking levels using historical demand and forecasts to maintain inventory.
• Negotiate with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, lead time and service.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance, quality, and on-time delivery.
