Job summary

Kurt J. Lesker Company is seeking a Procurement Specialist at its Jefferson Hills, PA facility. You will source outsourced products, negotiate supplier agreements, and ensure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.

This full-time role partners with Product Managers and internal teams to optimize value and supplier performance. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years in procurement, and strong Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement and inventory management.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.
• Experience with RFQs, blanket orders, and discount programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supply chain activities with Product Managers and Material Control.
• Respond to pricing and delivery inquiries for non-stocked items.
• Analyze demand, inventory, and spend data to optimize stocking levels and supplier consolidation.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, quality, packaging, and service levels.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships through audits, inspections, and negotiations.
• Create and manage purchase orders to support sales orders and inventory replenishment.
• Maintain planning data including item master information and PO delivery dates.
