Job summary

Wabash National is seeking a Process Engineering Technician to support operations through meticulous documentation, comprehensive training, and direct floor assistance. You will bridge production, engineering, and procurement to integrate new products, prototypes, and complex builds on the shop floor.

You will collaborate with process and manufacturing engineering teams across truck body locations, participate in pilots, develop SOPs, and train the operations team on interpreting and using

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Familiar with BOM management and ERP systems.
• Strong manufacturing process knowledge and materials understanding.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and CAD tools (SolidWorks).
• Lean methodology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide production floor support; document issues on orders, drawings and BOMs.
• Collaborate with engineering and procurement to resolve documentation discrepancies.
• Support pilot builds and complex assemblies; review drawings and provide feedback.
• Develop and maintain SOPs; participate in documenting ESRs/MSRs and training materials.
• Train operations on interpreting and using manufacturing documents.
