Responsibilities

Determine optimum process conditions for new and existing products.
Initiate process improvements to maximize output and reduce costs.
Develop SOPs for processes and equipment.
Contribute to interdepartmental programs.
Assist in implementing process improvement and cost reduction programs.
Understand TPS and train team members.
Investigate problems and formulate solutions.
Coordinate activities of contractors and vendors.
Visit customers, suppliers, and vendors for quality defect analysis and solutions.
Perform capacity studies on plant processes.
Research best equipment and costs.
Perform programming changes to robots as required.
