Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or related engineering disciplines.
  • 1–2 years in manufacturing engineering roles focused on process improvement.
  • Experience with cell manufacturing equipment, surface finishing processes, and process controls is desirable.
  • Strong mental agility, good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to spend up to 75% on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts at the Cleveland, TN site.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People.
  • Oversee equipment installation/upgrade projects and monitor process controls.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to management.
