Qualifications

• 15+ years in flexographic and digital printing operations.
• Strong knowledge of UV and water-based ink systems.
• Experience with pressure-sensitive labels, flexible packaging, shrink sleeves, cartons or related printed products.
• Hands-on equipment troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and provide technical direction to production employees.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and decision making skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting across manufacturing equipment and production processes.
• Oversee equipment changeovers, production quality, and operating speeds to maximize efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and develop production employees on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality standards.
• Evaluate production issues, make quality-related decisions, and implement corrective actions.
• Support new equipment and process setups to ensure established production standards are achieved.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Promote and enforce workplace safety, quality standards, and operating procedures.

Manufacturing Process Specialist (75–95K)

We have a Manufacturing Process Specialist opportunity available with a well-established, employee-owned manufacturing company in the Syracuse, NY area.

This 1st shift position is ideal for an experienced printing industry professional with strong technical expertise, mechanical troubleshooting abilities, and a passion for improving production efficiency and quality.

Key duties will include:

• Provide hands on technical support and troubleshooting across manufacturing equipment and production processes.
• Oversee equipment changeovers, production quality, and operating speeds to maximize efficiency.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on equipment and process troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and provide technical direction to production employees.
