Printing Process Engineer

Location: Greater Philadelphia Area

Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 base salary + relocation assistance

Summary: A reputable packaging manufacturing company is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Printing Process Engineer for their Greater Philadelphia facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering support across multiple functions, including Technical Services, Production, Graphics Engineering, Project Management, Quality Assurance, and customer-facing initiatives.
• Design, configure, and refine print and converting processes from concept through post-delivery, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the life cycle.
• Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing methods, product design, material utilization, tooling, equipment performance, and quality standards using Lean principles.
• Conduct data-driven analysis to identify process gaps, implement corrective and preventive measures, and optimize workforce, workspace, and equipment utilization.
• Support new product development and process innovation through training, documentation of best practices, and resolution of production challenges to establish robust, repeatable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Printing, or Continuous Improvement
• 4+ years of experience working with flexographic, rotogravure, and lithographic printing in a process improvement role
• Skilled in validation, installation, troubleshooting, and setup of processes, equipment, and facility layouts
