Job summary

Click Bond is seeking an experienced manufacturing engineer to design, develop, and install cost-effective production processes. You will plan manufacturing layouts, write work instructions, and create process diagrams to optimize efficiency.

The role requires strong knowledge of CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, heat treating, and automation, with AutoCAD/SolidWorks proficiency. A PE license and aerospace standards familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–5 years of related experience in manufacturing or aerospace environments.
• P.E. certification or SME CMfgT/CMfgE preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar drafting programs; SolidWorks required.
• Fastener industry background and knowledge of aerospace standards desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency.
• Write Work Instructions and participate in work area layouts.
• Create spaghetti diagrams and process flow charts for process improvement.
• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods using design and tooling data.
• Analyze workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow for maximum efficiency.
• Coordinate with planning, design, and vendors on specs and purchases.
• Estimate production times, staffing, and costs for management decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards; enforce safety.
• Maintain clean, orderly, hazard-free work areas; perform with minimal supervision.
