Job summary

Click Bond is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician Level 2 in Carson City, NV. The role emphasizes creating SOPs, process flows, and equipment layouts, while supporting lean initiatives and data-driven improvements.

Ideal candidates will have lean training, experience with SPC basics, GD&T, and familiarity with CAD tools such as AutoCAD/SolidWorks, plus ERP/PLM software knowledge. Strong English communication and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
Technical training from Community College or equivalent preferred.
Lean 101 training or equivalent required.
Other technical certifications desired.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, including SOPs, work instructions, process flow diagrams, and equipment layouts.
Support implementation of process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Assist in collection and analysis of production data to identify trends and areas for potential process improvement.
Support process improvement initiatives by conducting time studies, data collection for capacity analysis, and workflow optimization.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure that process changes are communicated and implemented effectively.
Troubleshoot and resolve process issues, minimizing production downtime.
Conduct regular inspections of processes to identify potential issues before they cause failures.
Provide training and support to Level 1 technicians on documentation standards and basic process improvement techniques.
