Job summary

G.W. Lisk Company, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to bridge manufacturing operations and Engineering.

You will troubleshoot production and test equipment, assist with preventative maintenance, and use data to drive continuous improvement on automation and tooling. You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and operators to optimize processes and equipment performance. Ideal candidates have an associate degree or technical education, 2+ years in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical education required or preferred.
• 2+ years in a technical manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings, data, manuals, and handbooks.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment (scope, dielectric testers, ohmmeters).
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems and high-pressure plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing by troubleshooting process, equipment, and quality issues.
• Troubleshoot custom manufacturing and test equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment including pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Use hand tools and machining equipment to modify or repair components.
• Assist with operator training on production equipment and tools.
• Analyze production to identify improvement opportunities in processes.
• Maintain equipment database and assist with spare parts procurement.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers on new equipment specifications and development.
• Provide data and troubleshooting information for corrective actions and repairs.
• Interface with PLCs (Allen Bradley) to troubleshoot or modify programs.
