Job summary

Summit Staffing, Inc. is assisting a client in Roanoke, TX to fill a Manufacturing Engineering Technician role. You will support the engineering team with process improvements, documentation, and data analysis to optimize production lines.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in a related technical field, 2+ years of manufacturing/engineering experience, and familiarity with quality systems. CAD knowledge and OSHA 10/30 are a plus, driving is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing, engineering, quality or technical support.
• Experience with production processes and quality systems preferred.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis and continuous improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production line improvements and process documentation.
• Collect, analyze, and report manufacturing and quality data.
• Support validation of processes, tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Maintain work instructions, SOPs, and manufacturing documentation.
• Participate in corrective and preventive action activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects focusing on safety and quality.
• Coordinate calibration activities for inspection equipment.
