Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a state-of-the-art facility that builds architectural wood doors. You will report to the Automation Engineering Manager and work closely with Production, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance and Engineering to drive day-to-day performance.

The role emphasizes on-floor presence, practical problem solving, and improvements that meet KPIs. Relocation is offered for strong candidates in a business-casual environment.

Qualifications

• Be responsible for solving hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day operations.
• Strong process improvement skills to help meet KPIs.
• Develop practical solutions and ensure improvements are implemented and sustained.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor and work with operators and leadership.
• Prior project management experience, start to finish, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Solve hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day operations with Production, CI, Maintenance and Engineering.
• Drive process improvements to meet KPIs and sustain gains.
• Develop and validate manufacturing processes and improvements on existing methods.
• Collaborate with floor teams to resolve day-to-day process issues.
