Job summary

Maker's Pride in Ohio is seeking a Process Engineer to support Operations with data collection, problem solving, and countermeasure implementation to improve capability and sustainability while upholding safety and quality standards. This role involves analyzing data to uncover root causes and implementing improvements across manufacturing with a focus on cost reduction.

You will assist the Commercialization team and Project Engineers on capital projects, develop best practices, train teams on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 1+ years in Process Improvement or associate degree with 3+ years in Lean manufacturing.
• Experience with GMPs, HACCP, SQF and 5S is preferred; Six Sigma/Kaizen belts a plus.
• Strong data analysis, problem solving and communication skills; ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and optimize processes across manufacturing to reduce costs and improve safety, quality and throughput.
• Measure, interpret data, and design tests to improve data collection; implement countermeasures.
• Support capital projects and work with Project Engineers on execution; maintain process improvement documentation.
• Collaborate with maintenance, QA, and operations; train teams on new processes and GMP compliance.
• Stay current with industry trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives; may work second/third shift or weekends.
