Job summary

Bosch USA in Florence, KY seeks a group leader for manufacturing process engineering to manage day-to-day engineering and problem solving in the Electric Rack Steering assembly area. You will drive targets for safety, quality, cost and delivery by reducing scrap, cutting cycle times, and leading improvements with Planning, Maintenance, Operations, Quality, and Logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with assembly processes and leading teams.
• Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical problem solver with experience using structured problem solving tools.

Responsibilities

• Directs engineering work for manufacturing engineers supporting scrap reduction, cycle time reduction, and overall process improvements.
• Supports continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, quality and productivity.
• Manages budget planning for line improvement activities and builds business cases.
• Ensures OEE, rejects/FTT, and scrap cost targets are met.
• Coordinates engineering change processes with design, quality and logistics.
• Fosters a high-performance culture within the engineering team.
