Job summary

Bosch in Florence, KY is seeking a group leader for manufacturing process engineering to drive day-to-day engineering, problem solving, and improvements in the Electric Rack Steering area. You will lead a team to meet safety, quality, cost and delivery targets.

You will collaborate with Planning, Maintenance, Operations, Quality and Logistics to achieve results and build a high-performance engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or related industry.
• Experience with assembly processes and process improvement.
• Strong leadership, presentation and communication skills.
• Analytical problem solving ability using structured methods.

Responsibilities

• Directs engineering work for manufacturing engineers in scrap reduction and cycle time improvement.
• Leads continuous improvement to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Manages budget planning and business cases for line improvements.
• Ensures equipment OEE, rejects/FTT, and scrap costs meet targets.
• Coordinates engineering changes with design, quality and logistics.
