Job summary

Hengstler is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support daily manufacturing operations, troubleshoot production equipment, and help drive process improvements across the facility in Elizabethtown, NC. You will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Test and Automation, Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.

This role reports to the Senior Engineering Manager and emphasizes hands-on problem solving, documentation, and training

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical certification in Manufacturing Technology or related field; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered.
2+ years in manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, test, or technical support.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read drawings, schematics, and technical docs.
Experience with hand tools, measuring equipment, and basic diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on support to production teams to reduce downtime and improve process consistency.
Troubleshoot production equipment, fixtures, tooling, and test systems.
Assist with process development, improvements, and issue resolution.
Document equipment issues, repairs, changes, and improvements.
