Zipline is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to convert complex electro-mechanical products into safe, reliable production lines for aircraft, docks, and hardware. You will own final assembly and feeder sub-assemblies from process definition through production release and sustainment.

Join a manufacturing engineering team to scale output from tens to thousands of units weekly over 1–3 years, bringing sub-assemblies in-house and validating production lines within months.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on manufacturing engineering experience designing, building, and sustaining assembly lines for complex electro-mechanical products.
• Experience scaling production volume by an order of magnitude.
• Strong knowledge of PFMEA, control plans, SPC, Cp/Cpk, first-article processes, and production validation.

Aufgaben

• Own assigned assembly lines and feeder subassemblies from definition through validation and sustainment.
• Design, procure, install, and commission fixtures, gauges, tooling, and ergonomic flows.
• Define and validate assembly sequences, PFMEAs, control plans, SPC, and release criteria.
• Investigate production issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Improve yield, throughput, takt time, and cost of quality against targets.
• Lead DFM decisions balancing time, cost, safety, and reliability.
• Create SOPs, work instructions, and training materials; train technicians and leads.
• Coordinate capacity, layouts, equipment with Design, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Ops.
