Job summary

You will work with NC milling machines, lathes and grinders, developing and executing process plans while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and quality.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, instrumenting processes, writing equipment specs, and guiding technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years manufacturing experience + minimum of 3 years manufacturing engineering experience).

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing processes for turbine engine components using NC milling machines, lathes and grinders with up to 5 axis of control.
• Write equipment specifications, lead ordering, machine run-offs, installation, and final acceptance.
• Provide technical leadership and training plans for production technical resources.
• Develop and execute project plans of moderate impact often involving multiple support functions to accomplish.
• Aid in troubleshooting machining processes or machine-related issues using root cause analysis.
