GE Aerospace in the United States seeks a manufacturing engineer focused on turbine engine components. The role emphasizes executing manufacturing processes using NC milling, lathes, and grinders with up to five axes, coordinating with equipment suppliers, and guiding production teams.

Candidates should bring a strong technical background, the ability to propose solutions with guidance, and experience in setting goals for shop floor teams. A performance bonus plan is available.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years manufacturing experience + 3 years manufacturing engineering experience
• Experience with NC milling machines, lathes and grinders, up to 5 axes
• Knowledge of NC controls: Haas, Fanuc, Hurco, Okuma

Mansioni

• Manufacturing processes execution with some autonomy within standard practices.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and apply it to policy/strategy within the team.
• Lead or contribute to project plans of moderate impact involving multiple functions to improve production.
• Provide technical leadership and training plans for production resources.
• Define and control production processes including tooling and equipment and validate new designs/tools on the shop floor.
