Mueller Co. LLC is seeking an Industrial Engineer for our Decatur, Illinois facility. The role focuses on analyzing and improving manufacturing processes, time studies, value stream analyses, and cross-functional collaboration to drive efficiency and quality.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering and 2 years of related experience, plus experience with Lean, Six Sigma, AutoCAD, and data analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field of study and two (2) years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Product Engineer, or related role where the required experience was gained.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and production layouts to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Develop and implement time studies, process maps, and value stream analyses to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain—to drive process improvements.
• Design and implement standardized work procedures, equipment layouts, and process documentation.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to reduce waste, improve throughput, and support cost-reduction goals.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, equipment, and automation technologies to improve efficiency.
• Track key performance metrics, prepare reports, and present findings to leadership.
• Support training of production and operations staff on new processes or improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
