Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Manufacturing Role focused on designing production processes for fuel injectors. The position emphasizes safety, cost efficiency, and quality improvements across assembly operations, with leadership of technical staff and engineering support for equipment and processes.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s in engineering or related field and experience in lean manufacturing, process optimization, and APQP activities relevant to automotive and diesel applications.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of decision-making processes and tools; ability to analyze situations and make informed decisions.
• Lean manufacturing philosophy and implementation in production management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement enhancements to complex manufacturing operations equipment and processes.
• Monitor equipment reliability and address problem areas.
• Provide supervision, coaching and development for operations technical staff.
• Lead engineering support for planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment and processes.
• Continuously improve current assembly process.
• Facilitate APQP elements including PFMEA, Process Flow, and Control Plan.
