Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Two or more years in manufacturing engineering required.
• Experience in scaling up production lines using lean principles.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes for fabrication of parts and assemblies.
• Applies technical knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve manufacturing and engineering problems.
• Designs the sequence of production operations and adapts machinery.
• Collaborates with design engineering on technical specifications to optimize equipment and techniques.
• Investigates, dispositions and justifies product non-conformances and drawings.
• Estimates manufacturing costs and determines time standards.
• Ensures production processes comply with regulations and maintains records.
• Performs supplier audits and oversees delivery of conforming products.
• Communicates technical responses to supplier questions during proposals and manufacturing efforts.
• Supports on-site supplier kickoff meetings to discuss plans and deliverables.
