Qualifications

• Undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Ability to work 40 hours a week during the scheduled semester.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, analytical and decision-making skills, and PC skills including Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Safety conscious.
• Self-motivated and disciplined with a hands-on approach to problem solving.
• College status of a junior or senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering Technology.
• Six months generalized work experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• General Lean Manufacturing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Expand your technical and professional skills through meaningful work and mentorship.
• Collaborate with engineers and teams to address safety, quality, and production challenges.
• Document current and future state workflows and potential process improvements.
• Lead and participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
• Attend department, team, and project meetings as necessary.
• Complete projects as assigned by Quality Manager.
