Job summary

Acro Service Corp in Endicott, NY is seeking a details-focused Manufacturing Engineer to create, maintain and improve manufacturing work instructions using an MES-based system. You will convert existing procedures into clear, standardized Lean-based work instructions and help optimize assembly, disassembly, soldering, and material prep processes.

You will define operation sequences for tooling and processes, evaluate methods for cost, quality, operator efficiency, and productivity.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience or Associate’s Degree/equivalent experience.
Experience in manufacturing documentation or technical writing preferred.
MES experience is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and improve manufacturing work instructions using MES.
Convert instructions into clear, standardized procedures based on Lean principles.
Develop and optimize assembly, disassembly, and soldering processes.
Define operation sequences for tooling, equipment, and processes.
Evaluate methods for cost, quality, and productivity.
Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve processes and product quality.
Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and product requirements and support audits.
Provide feedback to design teams to improve build processes.
