Job summary

Wabash is seeking a manufacturing improvement leader to develop and implement process enhancements for trailer production. You will lead cross-functional teams, assess capabilities, and drive improvements across devices and processes, ensuring quality and continuous improvement throughout manufacturing operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering management, solid knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks, and strong leadership and planning skills to manage multiple

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering management with strong manufacturing emphasis.
  • Lean/Six Sigma training is a plus and helpful for process improvement.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD or SolidWorks for design input and reviews.
  • Excellent leadership, planning, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing improvement projects for trailer manufacturing.
  • Lead complex projects with minimal supervision and coordinate cross-functionally.
  • Assess process capabilities and prioritize improvement opportunities.
  • Document procedures to meet quality systems requirements and validation needs.
  • Provide DFMar input and support lean reviews and line-side meetings.
