Job summary

Wastequip WRX in Tyler, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, design and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes using methods, jigs, fixtures, racking and conveyors. The role ensures conformance to product specs, quality and safety standards while driving production improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
Experience with 3D CAD, Autodesk Inventor is preferred.
Familiarity with welding environments is a plus.
Knowledge of PLCs and automation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Design, test and implement new equipment, processes and systems for production flow and assembly methods.
Create layouts, BOMs, budgets and work instructions for new equipment.
Coordinate with management, operations, suppliers and contractors on project execution.
Lead manufacturing launch of new or revised projects and train operators.
Support cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency initiatives.
