Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Hart, MI is seeking a Process Engineer to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. This role focuses on analyzing processes, applying Lean Six Sigma tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will develop SOPs, monitor SPC data, and support production through training and technical guidance. Relevant experience with process simulation tools like Aspen HYSYS or PRO/II is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification for process optimization and waste reduction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience utilizing SPC and data analysis tools.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II) and CAD software.
• Experience in developing and implementing process improvements, leading to measurable gains in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and optimizes manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Conducts root cause analysis and develops corrective actions for process deviations and quality issues.
• Develops and maintains SOPs and work instructions.
• Implements and monitors process control strategies to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new products and technologies into existing manufacturing lines.
• Utilizes statistical process control (SPC) and other data analysis tools to identify process improvements.
• Provides technical support and training to production personnel on new and existing processes.
