The Pivot Group Network is seeking a Process Engineer in Rockford, MI to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost reduction. You will analyze data, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate across functions to drive improvements and reduce waste.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's in engineering and 3+ years of experience, with Lean Six Sigma and data analysis proficiency (Minitab/JMP).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization and waste reduction.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis software (Minitab, JMP).
Experience with process simulation software (ASPEN HYSYS, PRO/II) and process control systems (DCS, PLC).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
Analyze process data to identify bottlenecks, improve yields, and reduce waste.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, flowcharts, and P&IDs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new products and processes into production.
Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
Specify and procure new equipment, ensuring proper integration and performance.
Monitor and report on KPIs and provide technical support and training to production personnel.
