Job summary

Allegion Canada Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer in Cincinnati, OH to manage engineering activities for the assigned production team.

The role emphasizes tactical execution, safety, quality, and on-time delivery, with a focus on continuous improvement across processes. The candidate will partner with functions, provide cell-level engineering support, and drive root cause analysis to improve reliability and process stability, while developing standard work and setup instructions

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering (or related field) is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience in a machine shop environment.
• Skills in sheet metal manufacturing (Shear, notch, roll, form welding) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with all functions to foster collaboration and adherence to processes.
• Provide engineering support to assigned cells; analyze processes and equipment.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive equipment reliability and process stability.
• Define, specify and communicate quality expectations via standard work, specs, and work instructions.
• Ensure engineering solutions meet safety, cost, time, and quality requirements.
• Assess risks/issues and make timely decisions with urgency.
• Prepare capital project requests and manage implementation.
• Assist purchasing and quality Assurance in qualifying new vendors.
• Research, evaluate, justify, and recommend capital equipment for operations.
• Develop and maintain process documentation (routings, standard work, setup sheets).
• Analyze proposed changes for manufacturing impact and feasibility.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Project Management knowledge.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical manufacturing.
