Job summary

Data Innovations LLC seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to define, document, and continuously improve manufacturing processes from product launch through sustaining operations at our on-site Duluth facility.

You will partner with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to build clear, scalable processes, create standard work and digital work instructions, and lead Kaizen events to reduce variation and improve first-pass yield.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of process/manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience creating and sustaining standard work and work instructions.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of manufacturing processes in a production environment.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and specifications; GD&T preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain manufacturing process flows, routings, and method-of-manufacture documentation.
• Create and maintain standard work, work instructions, visual aids, and training materials with revision control.
• Translate drawings, CAD models, and BOM into executable manufacturing steps with acceptance criteria and in-process checks.
• Build and maintain digital work instructions using CAD models and BOM structures to improve training and compliance.
• Analyze production data to identify defects, delays, and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead Kaizen events and problem-solving initiatives with countermeasures and sustainment checks.
• Support NCR, CAPA, and MRB activities with containment, root-cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Assist New Product Introductions and engineering changes with readiness planning and pilot builds.
• Collaborate with Engineering to specify fixtures, gauges, and equipment improvements.
