Job summary

FLEXIBLE METAL INC is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our Tucker, GA team near Atlanta. The role focuses on developing and implementing new production processes and improving existing ones to meet customer requirements.

You will design tooling, specify equipment, document procedures, and train operators while driving root-cause analysis and continuous improvement to increase profitability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 10 years experience in engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in Creo or SolidWorks.
• Proficient in the English language both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Implement manufacturing processes that meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate initial off-tool builds and manufacturing launch efforts to support customer needs.
• Design and specify tooling and gages. Coordinate manufacture and/or purchase of tooling and gages.
• Specify new equipment and coordinate new equipment installation and run off.
• Document machine and process instructions and train operators.
• Determine root cause and implement corrective actions for non-conforming product.
• Increase profitability through implementation of new technology and continuous improvement of existing products and processes.
