Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO Product Inspection (PI) is offering a Manufacturing Services Engineering Intern role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will support production schedules, investigate issues, and help drive process improvements while learning Tune & Balance techniques.

The internship is for the summer in the United States, with a competitive hourly wage and opportunities to network across the company. You’ll gain hands-on experience and mentorship from engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with anticipated graduation Dec 2027–May 2029.
• Interest in manufacturing environment and hands-on learning.
• Strong data analysis and communication skills.
• Prior leadership experience (on/off-campus) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production schedules to achieve on-time delivery.
• Investigate and help resolve production and material-related issues.
• Learn and support Tune & Balance processes and soak testing.
• Participate in process improvement projects to enhance operations.
• Review work instructions against real-world manufacturing execution and suggest updates.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions as needed.
• Assist Process Improvement Engineer as needed.
