METTLER TOLEDO Product Inspection (PI) seeks a Manufacturing Services Engineering Intern in Florida. The role supports daily production, investigates issues, and participates in process improvement projects to boost efficiency and reliability.

You will learn Tune & Balance, review instructions, and assist in root-cause analysis while gaining hands-on manufacturing experience. The internship emphasizes problem solving, data analysis, and teamwork within a global precision instruments company

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Interest in working in a manufacturing environment; hands-on problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production schedules to achieve on-time delivery and meet operational targets.
• Investigate and help resolve production and material-related issues, working with team members to keep operations running smoothly.
• Learn and support Tune & Balance processes, including soak testing, identifying opportunities to maximize efficiency.
• Participate in process improvement projects by analyzing soak test results and implementing solutions to enhance performance.
• Review work instructions and compare them to real-world manufacturing process execution; make recommendations to improve accuracy and usability.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action efforts when issues arise.
• Assist Process Improvement Engineer as needed.

Our equipment is commonly used in industries such as food, pharmaceutical, and consumer products. Products such as checkweighers, x-ray inspection systems, and vision inspection systems automatically inspect products as they move through production to identify problems before those products reach customers. These systems also contain quality inspection and monitoring software which collects data for productivity and efficiency analysis.METTLER TOLEDO Product Inspection (PI) has an opening for a Manufacturing Services Engineering Intern.
