Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent engineering experience.
• 2+ years of engineering experience preferred with mechanical aptitude.
• Strong problem solving using analytical tools and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Utilize lean process design techniques to optimize manufacturing system performance.
• Plan, organize, and lead technical aspects of large-scale assignments.
• Create training tools and SOPs for production processes to ensure manufacturability.
• Provide recommendations on design solutions related to new or current processes.
• Facilitate cross-functional kaizens and Process System Design events.
• Drive corrective action through root-cause analysis and structured problem solving.
• Partner with Safety to meet corporate safety requirements.
• Assess ergonomic conditions and propose practical improvements.
• Sell continuous improvement ideas to value stream management.
• Stay informed on industry technology developments and their application.
• Provide operational technical support for existing applications and processes.
