LS Cable & System USA is seeking engineers to help develop and improve production methods for wire and cable products. Under supervision of the Engineering Manager or a senior engineer, you will participate in projects, perform feasibility studies, collect data, and prepare analyses to support cost reductions and process improvements.

Competenze

• Training in product/process development.
• Experience with limited project leadership (small capital projects).
• Requires knowledge of machine, equipment, and tool design; manufacturing methods and equipment, including materials handling; and specific aspects of product design, quality control, and costs.

Mansioni

• Assist with major engineering projects and handle less complex portions independently.
• Perform engineering studies and investigations; design machines, equipment, and tooling; develop methods for machining and assembly.
• Plan production methods with design engineering and implement new methods, equipment, and tooling.
• Prepare operating and process specifications and maintain records.
• Investigate production problems and develop improvement solutions; emphasize cost reduction and safety.
