LS Cable & System USA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to join the Wire & Cable manufacturing team in Tarboro, NC. This entry-level role supports development, optimization, and troubleshooting of manufacturing processes, equipment, and production methods.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to improve efficiency and quality while supporting new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 0-1 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience in wire and cable manufacturing or similar environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering projects in wire and cable manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Conduct studies, data collection, and analysis to support continuous improvement.
• Support extrusion, cabling, stranding, insulation, and jacketing operations.
