Job summary

Amrize is seeking a detail-oriented Process Engineer in Tuscumbia, AL to lead process development and improvement for both new and legacy products. You will drive safety, quality and cost reductions while partnering with operations, quality and R&D teams.

The role requires implementing process control plans, PFMEA and SPC analysis, and mentoring teams to resolve production issues and improve throughput. A Lean Six Sigma mindset and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of plant manufacturing experience.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge (Green Belt a plus).

Responsibilities

• Improve safety, quality, productivity, and reduce scrap and downtime.
• Support evaluation of process parameters, equipment, and materials.
• Update manufacturing process procedures and monitor performance.
• Conduct SPC analysis and ensure conformance to specs.
• Provide training and resolve production issues to improve throughput.
• Support NPI, automation, plant trials and Six Sigma projects.
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and cross-functional teams.
